Sometimes you need to give places a second chance. When you seek personality spaces you might find them having a different point of view.

When imagine our perfect home, there are some things that pop into mind for me: the kitchen, the master bedroom and the walking closet. I’m so sorry for the rest of my family but I remember being very young and dreeeeaming of growing up just to have the biggest room in the house! (I was the youngest of 7 siblings so you can imagine my trauma for space). Those are the types of expectations that each and every one of us has towards our new home. You need to figure out what it is that really matters to you in order to see the perspective of your other needs.

When we came to this apartment the mirrors, the carpets and the dark colors were not what we were looking for. Especially the darkness and the excess of furniture didn’t even let us see the space in its entirety. Some of the things were black; the couch, the lamps, the TV, the kitchen dinning table, and the carpets were pink. Nothing in this place emanated the style we were looking for, but we had the opportunity to look beyond those things and clean up the space in our heads. THE SPACE WAS WONDERFUL, huge windows, awesome water view and the best master bedroom ever; not to mention the space for the walk-in closet and the light coming everywhere from the windows. We knew the space had a real potential. Our client wanted a fresh boho look, very white and peaceful and so each room had that same brief.

Changing the color palette from the inside immediately lit up the place; sometimes light comes from inside also. And the combination of organic textures completed our goal.
