We are obsessed with nurseries and kids rooms, for those of you that

didn’t know we are both expecting babies this year, a funny and happy

coincidence. As expecting mothers it is something that is on our minds

constantly, this raises the question what is it that we need to think

about in order to know what we want.

First it is a good idea to decide your main furniture before you start

decorating. Sometimes we pic and buy colors first, but it can be easier or

less expensive to match paint, fabrics and wallpaper to your furniture

pieces. (Crib, changing table, nursing chair). You can always bend the

rules in design.

Be you, what is your style at home, traditional, contemporary or a bit of

this and a bit of that? Make sure your nursery design reflects what you

are. Latter you kids are going to decide what they like.

Get inspired and search online, in magazines, in stores for ideas and put

together the ones you love. This will help you have a clear and

productive starting point.

Designing a Nursery or your kid’s room is very important and exiting. Is

one of life’s mayor events and it requires planning and preparation and

can be overwhelming so if you need help find a designer but make sure
