It's almost certain that every home has a favorite space, in my home the kitchen was the perfect place to be, regardless of whether you were eating or just chatting to one another, even when we had visitors, they all ended sitting at the kitchen table or at the bar stools. There was something special about it, we all fit (we were a big family) and the thought of having a snack close by allowed us to enjoy each other’s company as well (we are a foodie family). I remember my mother arranged my room a desk for homework and for drawing, but it was always at the kitchen table where all of my siblings and I ended up doing our homework or projects. This said, my mom decided to make our kitchen the most inspiring and cozy space of the house, she fixed the cabinets and made room so we could always have everything we needed close nearby and accessible
. She understood that our home has a voice and sometimes we just have to listen. Now that I think about it that is why I am always in my kitchen and it is always the focal point of any home i have moved to. Where is the place you and your family spend the most time in your house?
